This is not going to be a long post. It seems that whenever a high profile person passes on, everyone is expected to show them respect and to refrain from speaking ill of them until a certain unspecified amount of time passes.
Is there something that death does to absolve someone of their evil deeds while alive?
No, death does not erase one deeds, nor is death a magical potion that shields a person from criticism.
John McCain spent his life as a modern day warlord, pushing and fighting to arm terrorists all over the world. He promoted and armed ISIS. He promoted and armed Nazis in the Ukraine. Even in death, John McCain has the blood of innocent men, women, and children on his evil war-mongering hands.
As the mainstream media is busy "honoring" this person, don't forget who he was and what he did...
I do not believe that death changes anything in this instance. The actions of this man will be felt through generations all over the world, and hundreds of thousands of lives have been lost and destroyed due to his greed and thirst for power.
I can't say that I am sad to see him go.
