Being in the business of internet money for me started back in 2000 when i created my first internet money for use with some of my websites, i am a firm believer in block chain and although Bitcoin is the number 1 coin Steem totally impressed me after using bitcoin for years faster, cheaper. Dan's philosophy is right on with the needs of the future, It includes accountability, fairness, equality and a fantastic opportunity for everybody anywhere in the world that is willing to participate, and for bringing us Steem i applaud Mr. Dan Larimer and will always be grateful. But i have one question, when i receive cash money do i have to know it's history who possessed the dollar bills before me? There will always be nefarious individuals who will try to game the system and others who will use it in ways it was not intended, but with an open ledger architecture such as blockchain they can be easily identified, something that cannot be done with cash. This is great but i'm pretty sure you don't reveal how much money you have in your bank account freely to anyone who asks. So i think that privacy issues are a trade off and could still be an issue for some people. Since miners that have been an essential part of this frame work since the conception are now being replaced by faster more efficient and secure system of nodes a lot of the older security problems can be addressed, this was the genius thought that is now revolutionizing the world crypto right now in the present so hats off to Dan he's still number 1.
