In the Game of Thrones season 7 finale we got a look at how the Night King has begun to utilize Viserion as a weapon of his own . The Night King rode on Viserion's back to The Wall, where Viserion proceeded to breathe blue fire upon The Wall, eventually causing it to melt and topple to the ground - allowing the White Walker and wight army to cross the barrier that's kept them out of Westeros for centuries.
Good scene but many are confusing that the dragon shown is ice dragon but its not. its just an undead wight dragon, according to books ice dragon is a myth where they are much larger than these normal dragons and have transparent wings and breathe pure ice. But converted viserion here breathes some kind of magical blue fire. That magic comes from the children of forest who created white walkers.
Yes it is not the ice dragon but it has very high volume of fire coming out of his month. It was also flying very fast unlike before. Ice dragon has transparent wings and can freeze anything with it's breathe.
