I'm new to Steemit. In fact, this is my very first post!
So far I've visited the site a few times looking to see what kinds of things are discussed. Generally, it is at least as interesting than other social media sites, although I much prefer the concept.
The Jordan Peterson video you posted is really a ground-breaking performance by Peterson. He is in the UK promoting his new book, 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos.
His appearance on Channel 4 was, I believe, not intended by him to be the conflict it turned out to be. He was simply promoting his book. There are a number of other videos withing days of this one where he is received in a tremendously welcoming way by his host at the venues, and by the audience. He had a standing ovation from perhaps a thousand strong audience at one event at the 'How To' Academy. You can see it here:
Peterson is a clinical psychologist with a lot to contribute to a chaotic modern world. Unfortunately, the woman in the video you posted completely misunderstands his message - and going by the response she got from viewers' comments, she paid dearly for her ignorance.
