"Are you kidding me?!"

That's how 6-year-old Harper Pruitt reacted when her parents, Kasi and Shane Pruitt, introduced her and her older sister to their new adopted sister.

Older sister Raygen, 11, simply burst into tears of joy.

Shane Pruitt, 38, posted the video on Twitter to notify family and friends about their new arrival. It went viral, catching the eye of TODAY's Hoda Kotb, who featured it as her Morning Boost on Thursday.

Shane, who is the director of missions for the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention, called Raygen's and Harper's reactions "fitting for their personalities."

Harper is typically outspoken while Raygen is more sensitive and emotional.!

Shane and Kasi Pruitt introduced their new adopted baby daughter to their family on July 26.
While the Pruitts had been going through the adoption process for about 10 months, they hadn't heard anything about a potential adoption until July 25, the night before Shane's video was taken.

Shane and Kasi went to meet the baby's birth parents the next morning and brought the little one home the next day.

Since the process happened so quickly, the couple didn't have the chance to tell their daughters or their two other children, Titus, 4, and Elliot, 20 months, both of whom are also adopted.

But that doesn't mean that Raygen and Harper hadn't been anticipating this moment for quite some time.

These siblings have a lot of love for their new baby sister!
"We knew they'd be excited because they'd been asking about it every day," Shane said.

Elliot, their youngest child, loves kissing the baby on the forehead and putting her pacifier in her mouth, Shane added.

This is the third adoption for the Pruitt family, who live in Rockwall, near Dallas, Texas.

"We knew they'd be excited (about the baby) because they'd been asking about it every day," Shane said of his two older daughters.
"It might not be for everyone, but it's perfect for us," Shane said.

Did something make your day, like this video might have? We want to hear about it! Tell us the story, and Hoda might share it during her Morning Boost series.
