In what has been called “utter greed” two ICO’s headed by investor David Sui denied thousands of bounty hunters a fair payout.
Earlier this week both the Repux and JoyToken ICO’s founded by self-proclaimed venture capitalist David Sui announced they are no longer paying thousands of bounty hunters who took part in the campaign, in a move which has shocked the community.
The news was broken by ICO marketing firm AmaZix who this week publicly announced they have disassociated themselves with David Sui/ JoyTokn and RepuX citing they have been unable to reach an agreement of the payouts.
Both ICO's set a bounty of $1.5 million, they are now paying JUST $50,000
Investors in the telegram chat are concerned at the lack of communication since raising thousands of Ethereum in the token sale, with fingers being pointed towards an exit scam.
Bounty hunters are being declined payouts for their work carried out during the token sale period, from article writing to advertising.”
AmaZix prides itself on securing fair payouts for bounty hunters but were unable come to an agreement with David Sui who wanted to vastly decreased the agreed payouts, “we decided that we can’t go along with any unilateral modification of the bounty allocation that could tarnish our reputation. “ said AmaZix
Many ICO firms rely on bounty hunters as their sole method to promote the token sales, the mutual respect is often well paid with fairness and trust at the center of the agreements, this seems be all but lost with Repux and JoyToken who clear have no respect for the thousands of bounty hunters were have tirelessly worked to promote their token sale.
Both JoyToken and Repux don’t appear to be managed by any of the team members visible on the website but by David Sui who is fully in control of both the ICO’s according to sources.
After investigating the man behind both the ICO’s Mr David Sui, we are unable to find any experience in the blockchain industry other than self made pages and paid articles promoting his venture capitalist investments.
AmaZix statment:
*Dear RepuX/JoyToken bounty hunters,
We have an unfortunate announcement to make. AmaZix and Repux/Joytoken will be parting ways as we have been unable to reach an agreement about the payout of the respective bounty campaigns.
The ICO teams have stated that because of the lower than expected results in their token sales they are no longer willing to pay out the originally allocated amount to the bounty participants. At AmaZix we value honesty, straightforwardness and the value of a deal above everything and therefore we decided that we can’t go along with any unilateral modification of the bounty allocation that could tarnish our reputation.
We have tried without success to reach an agreement to defend your interests but their position is that we have “no say” in this matter and therefore we have no other choice but to step down. Stake calculations for RepuX are complete and Joytoken counts will be finished in the next days and delivered to the team.
Thank you for choosing to participate in our bounty programs and our most sincere apologies for this unfortunate event.
The AmaZix team*
