Out of jail: good.

Entering a guilty plea: bad precedent.

Not faulting him for making a hard choice, just pointing out it's not the victory for a free press we all hopefully want.

True. I think we should get rid of the dangerous notion of free press. There is no such thing nowadays. Best we can do is convince people around us to stop believing what the media tell them.
I believe it was indeed a hard choice for him, but the alternative was dying in a US maximum security jail. Why die a martyr when today billions of people go about their lives completely unaware of this man plight?

The best news for a very long time indeed!

Indeed. It's hard to believe it is happening. 24 hrs from now he should be free on Australian soil, I think.

I could not believe it when I heard it! What they did to Assange was horrific, they did themselves a disservice, put the spotlight on those war crimes!
It seems odd that he has to go to a US court on a Pacific Island for the court hearing.

Hallelujah! I saw this morning as part of the plea agreement some information had to be removed from Wikileaks. Now for Snowden and Ulbricht.

Oh, yes, right. Honestly, I took no notice. What's the point of deleting information that is already public? Anyway, I was too excited waiting for the whole sham to be over. If that's what it took to have his life back, so be it🙂. By this time, it must be around morning in Australia. Imagine waking up a free man, having breakfast with your wife. Incredible.

It’s a wonderful thing.

By the way, just looked it up and both Kennedy and Trump have promissed to pardon Ulbricht. There's hope...

It’s looking like Trump will win unless things really change.

Now the Zionists are pushing the Propaganda to make people see Assange as a criminal, not a hero. 😡
