The progress made in agricultural research: Bangladesh Jute Research Institute has been developing new varieties and technologies considering the country's agricultural environment and farmers' needs. During the scheduled time every hectare has been developed for better, improved jute and fiber production of such crops, marginal and obsolete (saline, mountainous, charred) cultivating land rich, desiable, tony, kaanf and mesta varieties. As a result, the country's jute cultivation land has been reduced and continuous, marginal, inadequate land has shifted jute, although national average production continues to increase.

In order to meet the decreasing nature of the organic material in the land, and to reduce the order of fertility strength of the land, the specific fertilizer levels have been determined based on varieties and land instead of fertilizer. Once upon a time, the development of crop sequence has been developed to supplement the soil nutrient by cultivating a kind of crop and to suppress the abundance of pests of similar diseases. Increase in crop intensity, for the cultivation of more crops and yielding on every hectare land, the crop phase based crop gradation has been developed and applied at the peasant level.
During the time of digging jute in Bangladesh, there was a severe shortage of water in almost all jute areas. As a result, the farmers produce improved variety of jute, but due to lack of water, the lower jute is being produced and marketed. In order to overcome this situation, improved jute cropping techniques have been developed to provide stable and easy to water. Direct cutting of jute trees, separation of jute bark, and separation of water, if there is no water or more of the production, the dyeing of the jute bamboo is saved and later it has been developed to develop the advanced fiber production process. Eco-friendly vegetable or indigenous pesticide use techniques and pesticides have been invented by reducing dependence on jute insects.
