Allium Sativum has several health benefits like we all know, but today i would like us to consider some of its importance to the masculine gender.
The main ingredient in garlic is allicin, which has
antibacterial , antivirus, antifungal, and antioxidant
properties , and are very good for keeping your body
healthy. Garlic is also full of vitamins and nutrients like
vitamins B1, B6, and vitamin C , manganese calcium ,
copper, selenium , and others.
Not everyone appreciates the strong flavor and smell of
garlic. But everyone can appreciate the numerous health
benefits of this herb. It also has health benefits specific

conducted in Shanghai, China on 471 healthy men and 238
men with prostate cancer. Having garlic in your daily diet
reduces the risk of prostate cancer. Men who consume
small amounts of garlic, onions, shallots, and leeks
experience a decrease by more than 33% on the risk of
having prostate cancer. And those who consume about 2
grams of garlic each day have risks gone down by half.
Garlic does not only aid in reducing the chances of having
prostate cancer. It also reduces the risks of other forms of
cancers too. In the United State, around 700,000 men are
diagnosed with cancer and about 40% of these men die.
According to the University of Maryland Medical Center
(UMMC), garlic reduces the risks of stomach, colon, and
throat cancers among men.
Garlic is also known to increase testosterone levels in
men. This study was done with rats and researchers found
that garlic supplements along with a high protein diet
increases testosterone levels.
And speaking of hormones, garlic has been a known
aphrodisiac. It can be used as an effectual sex
rejuvenator. It enhances the libido prowess of both men
and women. Garlic is also advised to be taken by people
who overindulge in sexual activities as it protects the
person from sheer nervous fatigue.
Garlic also helps with impotence. Because garlic aids in
blood circulation, it indirectly aids men in sexual activities.

synthase enzyme, which is necessary for men to reach an

considered a natural remedy for many diseases and

wounds, and colds.
