Kansas basketball is one of the biggest sponsors of the Adidas shoe brand. Kansas is also playing in the Final Four after a win over Duke in the Elite Eight last weekend. So it stands to reason that Adidas might very well decide to surprise the Jayhawks with their yet-to-be released Yeezy 500 shoes.
That's exactly what happened ahead of Kansas' matchup against Villanova on Saturday evening.

Look at the reactions. That's pretty legit stuff right there. Once these shoes are released to the public, they're expected to go for a cool $200 a pop. Nice perk for a major basketball program joining three others this weekend for an opportunity to win the title.
And for all you curmudgeons out there, this is not a violation of NCAA rules. Kansas wears Adidas. In turn, Adidas provided Kansas with these fly sneakers.
Deal.
