As promised in our proposal, we will post regular updates to let you know what's going on regarding Keychain development.
Mobile App
These past two weeks, I've been mostly working on adding missing requests to the mobile App:
- requestAddAccountAuthority
- requestRemoveAccountAuthority
- requestAddKeyAuthority
- requestRemoveKeyAuthority
- requestConversion
- requestRecurrentTransfer
Only a few requests are still missing and will be added soon.
Both Android and iOS Apps have been updated to reflect those changes. We also used the occasion to update Hive libraries to their latest version to avoid network timeouts. Big thanks to @mahdiyari for updating hive-tx on such a short notice!
Keychain extension
@cedricguillas continues to do an amazing job on the refactor, and has finish preparing the account management screen, and started to work on RPC handling.
Hive.js library has also been updated on Keychain extensions. It has already been approved on Firefox but still pending on Chrome.
Last but not least, Keychain just passed the 25k weekly users on Chrome alone (+1k on Firefox), and growing by over 500 users per day!

To import accounts quickly from your Hive Keychain extension to your mobile App, use the QR Code scanner by pressing the QR code logo:
On your extension, navigate to the menu (top right button), then to Manage Accounts and finally click on Show QR Code.
