Him: I learnt that in ancient times they had these keyboards that had little arm like things attached. And you went BANG BANG BANG *(making hand movements like hitting a keyboard.) And the arms would smash into the paper and ink leaving the letter on the paper.
Me: you mean a typewriter!
Him: Yes! That's it.
