Watch our for Black Hole's, lessons from my 4 y/o son.

in #kids7 years ago (edited)

My Son recent obsession is all about black holes. He get's on these curiosities and we go scouring YouTube for all the kids learning videos about these things. He can watch the same videos over and over and just loves learning these things and then telling all his family, friends and teachers (at day care). They are all well aware of his black hole obsession so I may as well tell you all as well.

He can usually tell you all about the spegettification if you get to close to the event horizon, and sometimes he even goes on about the schwartzchild radius and worries that his sister (in the bunk bed below him) could turn into a black hole during the night and suck him in. He's got quite the little imagination.

Anyways here are the two super fun videos from YouTube, where he's getting all his info.

This one is probably my favorite, I actually find this Mr DeMaio hilarious and I just love his humour.

My question on this second one, is what the heck is Dr. Binoc and are those arms or a mustache?

Man I just love watching him learn about these things and getting so darn excited about them too!

Watching Dr Binocs, we understand why he is afraid of his sister becoming a black hole...

Right! I wish Dr Binoc's didn't say that "you could turn into a black hole", my son doesn't understand all the physics and shawtzchild radius stuff, heck I don't even get it...lol.

hahaahahha!!!! Your son is just so cute. That was quite a cracker there for a second. I know what you mean about obsession for sure. My daughter is now 17 months and looooves Peppa Pig. It's like she just woke up to this whole new world that was unknown to her.

It's so cute to see them get so exciting and interested in it all.
