The Great American Eclipse!
I took this photo on August 21, 2017 near Cerulean, Kentucky during the amazing solar eclipse. I had posted a colorized version of it last month, but this is the original. Photos can never do an eclipse justice. You have to be there! I'm entering this photo in a contest I found today. Wish me luck!

Just remember an eclipse can't hurt you, and they only last a couple minutes. :)

I'm sorry I missed the contest for you. I love solar eclipses and only saw once in my life. Even with the sun obscured it still takes command of the picture.
I get to see another one in 2024! Hopefully I'm still around at that time. They are breathtaking for sure
