Well, I was hoping to post some new Big Sur beach photos today from my recent camping trip with the family, but the day ended up being all about playing catch up. Catching up with work, so many emails to return... and catching up with sleep, I accidentally took a long nap this afternoon, haha!

This was photographed at Lake Tahoe's Concours d'Elegance, which is a boat show for classic old wooden boats. Boats are fun and filled with lots of features these days, but man, they sure did build some beautiful boats back in the day. I was actually hired to shoot the show so I stayed late and got very lucky with an incredible sunset shot. More info about the Concours d'Elegance can be found HERE.
Photographed on a Canon 1Ds Mark III with a 24-105mm lens set at 24mm. A tripod and a flash were used, I believe I used a graduated neutral density filter too. The shutter speed was 1/125 second, because the boats were slightly moving on the water, I didn't want to have too long of a shutter speed. The aperture was f4, nice and wide in order to let in a lot of light from the flash. The ISO was 1000, a fairly light sensitive setting.
