Tonight I read such a beautiful story on my local Craigslist list that it touched my heart and it so warming and uplifting.
It's heartbreaking to see anyone who has to live on the streets and people just walking by, like it's no big deal. To treat people like this is inhumane and speaks to what kind of society we live in, where we are cut off from our hearts and afraid to connect with one another in any meaningful way.
It's time for a change, we can live together in a better way.

"Tonight I witnessed one of the most amazing selfless acts I’ve ever seen. Sitting outside at Walmart parking lot at 102 and king George while my husband tuned in his new nitro rc car, a homeless young man who was very obviously cold and sick walked by us as he coughed and shivered with his arms inside his T-shirt.
Just as he passed us a car pulled up and a young girl and a man in his late 20’s to early 30’s asked the sick young man if he would like a warm jacket. This made him stop in his tracks as he replied back, “how would I get it back to you?”
Before he could finish his statement the man from the car had already taken off HIS OWN coat and gave it to the less fortunate man to put on. With a huge “ thank you so much” and a a very warm”you’re very welcome” everyone was on their way again.
I just want to say thank you to those that gave so freely and selflessly, we need more people like you in the world and perhaps less people would be cold and sick on our streets. God bless you or to whom ever you pray to, may they bless you as well."
