Haha, awesome klyeart!
I have a somewhat different experience though. Facebook is mostly friends who I share a lot of common interests with, it's a lot of fun. While I have made some good friends and follow some great authors on Steemit too, I also see a lot of batshit insane conspiracy theorists, extreme egos, self-obsessed people and consequent butthurt, delusional extremists and generally more drama than I can handle. I have seen violent threats, blackmail and very lewd behaviour. I have never seen anything of the sort on Facebook. Unfortunately, for me, Reddit and Facebook offer a far, far superior social experience right now. I'm sure that'll change with the Sub-communities feature though, as well as when the community matures, which is why I'm sticking around :)
I don't think either platform is without their bullies and asshats but from what I see we do have a slightly less frequency of people being nasty to each other on here.. For the most part.
On Facebook they moderate and delete that sort of thing.. Here it's on the chain forever
Of course, it will depend from person to person. All I can say is, you need to block some people off Facebook :)
