Rare Harvest Moon Will Rise Tonight

NDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — If you’re outside tonight (Oct. 5), don’t forget to look up.

A full Harvest Moon will be on display as it passes over Neptune. Unfortunately, Hoosiers probably won't get to see the Blue Planet but can still enjoy the moon.

And this Harvest Moon is rare, according to Space.com. Between 1970 and 2050 only 18 Harvest Moons occur in October.
