Unfortunately whether fake or real, many content creators have made themselves vulnerable to this type of harassment because of exposing their personal details online.
PSA for everyone else: If you have no reason to identify yourself, don't and remain anonymous. Even if you do, don't post your family/kids/neighborhood on public sites.
As for their ability execute any of these threats (without knowing behind the scenes details), I am still skeptical. The additional quote you've posted here continues in the same unprofessional/naive style as the original communications. I wouldn't put it past Kokesh & Crew to try intimidation, but to actually follow through on any of it (assuming their source of income is primarily collecting fraudulent donations via Steem & social media) its not likely they would have the funds required to sustain any kind of efforts by professionals.
There is more information I cannot yet release. Not all professionals speak the same. Of course, I do not expect you to believe me on word alone.
