It is also called Touren. It is native to tropical Asia and is widely grown as a vegetable. It grows in a slightly humid place. It has an elliptical shape, the outer surface is covered with fiber, and a small bulb is attached to the side.
The leaves come out from the roots and are about 1m high. It has a long petiole and an egg-shaped broad oval. Leaves are 30 ~ 50cm long, 25 ~ 30cm long and have small protrusions on the surface. There are no hairs on both sides and the edges are wavy and plain. The lower part of the leaf stems downward. Rarely, there are 1 to 4 flower stalks between the petiole. In August-September, there is a male flower at the top of a rod-shaped flower ear, and a female flower at the bottom. Firebreaks that wrap flowers are 25-30cm long and 6cm wide and stand straight and have 6 stamens.
It is edible in the underground part. There are moth balls, child balls, and children's hands. Mogu is strong because of its strong taste. If the petiole is dry, it can eat any kind of breed, but most of the stem is strong.
It is a high temperature plant and it is difficult to cultivate in north central region. Cultivation is relatively easy and plants seeds in the spring. It is very weak to dry, so give water when weighing, spread straw on the surface and cover the grass. Pests are very few. It is distributed in Korea, India and Indonesia.
