나는 시인이 될 수 없습니다.
그런 시인이 될 수 없습니다.
그렇게 아프지도 않았고
힘들어 괴롭지도 않았습니다.
평범했고 평범했고 평범했고
다만
어두웠습니다. 마음 속 저 깊이
어두웠습니다. 간혹 거울을 볼 때면
높이 달린 입이 원망스럽습니다.
내 마음이 올라오기까지 그곳은 너무
멀었습니다.
그게 답니다.
제가 시를 쓰는 이유
사람을 만나 내가 할 수 있는 건
상처되지 않게 그저 미소짓는 것뿐이기에
빈 종이에 연필로 상처를 냅니다.
