Intent
To explore a White kratom strain and specifically its effects on productivity and energy levels.
Experience Report
I am now about three hours in. Contrary to the information gathered online prior to this experiment, sedation is more noticeable than an energy increase - being otherwise well rested and with zero tolerance to kratom, I wonder for future sessions whether being on an empty stomach might be the culprit.
It might also have been the amount consumed.
I cannot detect any enhancement of music appreciation, which happens for instance with Green Maeng Da, and there is also no compelling need to go play an instrument.
Looking inwards, I am calm, breathing slowly and evenly, with zero body discomfort. While there is no push towards getting things done, focusing on something (such as writing this post) is pleasurable.
Premature conclusions
Kratom is a very deep plant and with previous trials I have noticed that it often takes a few attempts until beginning to understand the particular effects that a certain strain produces, and how to best leverage that in terms of when to take it in the day, alone or in a social setting, what kind of activities to partake in, and so on.
So far, while enjoyable, I am skeptical of adding White Borneo to my list of must-have ethnobotanicals.
