You are not old-fashioned, I think that each individual decides what he prefers or not, the important thing is that the person is happy with himself, it is impossible to make everyone happy, so it is better to be happy yourself, you liked that car and its details, respectable in my opinion.

Well said, I do like old fashioned vintage things.
Nowadays consumer products are not built to last and often fail not long after the warranty. My perception of Vintage encompasses products like this auto was built with quality in mind. Easy to fix when needed. Built rugged to withstand decades of use. The philosophy of company that builds a reputation as a trusted name behind a product with a long termed vision.
Many companies now simply maximize for profit.
