Lake Baikal is one of Russia's natural wonders. Baikal located in Russia is the deepest, oldest, clearest lake in the world. But not many people know about the legend associated with the lake and some rivers in Russia. Precisely with Angara, the only river that flows from Baikal and the Yenisei River, which is one of three major rivers in Siberia.

Once, Lake Baikal has 336 children in the form of river. All men, except Angara. All the boys flowed to Baikal to refill the water.

But Angara, the only daughter of Baikal, is not dutiful. He fell in love with Yenisei and took all the water his father had for his lover.

Feeling angry, Sang Baikal threw a large rock at his daughter and cursed it. This stone is called the Shaman-Stone, located in the upper Angara and is considered the beginning of this river.
