Very cool!

Wow! you're so lucky. =)

Very ;)

I'm jealous... And nice photo-shoot! ^^

That's amazing. I really want to see that someday. Can you see it with the naked eye? or does it require long exposure?

You can see with the naked eye, else I would not have spotted it ;p But it is less bright than on this photo

There's something unique about this photo. It is the fact that the northern light is visible, yet it's an urban-ish photography. I men there are town lights AND the northern lights in the same photograph.

Very true! The long exposure does make the it a bit more visible than in person. But you could still clearly see it even with the light pollution

One of my dreams is to see the Northern Lights "in person" ... It's on my list of things to do before I die ... How about the experience? Just amazing right??

It is a special kind of feeling, it really shows how amazing the planet is and how small were are

Well done Julian, that's a tough shot to get with all the light pollution. Having said that. The glow from the streetlights is nice and warm.

Thanks! I also like the contrast with the warm glow from the city

very cool!! i'm sure it's enhanced for maximum impact for poster and such.... very cool none the less!!

Yeah I am also sure about that. The locals were not impressed at all so I also know there is more to be experienced ;p

Hello @juliank! Fortunate of you to have witnessed and captured the ever sought of Northern Lights. I'm jealous! I wonder if I'll ever see that with my own eyes. Good job also in getting it to come out beautifully in the photo despite all the synthetic lighting in the foreground. :D

Thanks, glad you like it. It is mostly about being in the right place at the right time. Just like falling starts it is a waiting game

I agree. Indeed, good, no, beautiful things come to those who wait. ;) Patience really is a virtue among photographers. Haha!

The Northern Lights look amazing! I can't wait until I get to travel to be able to see them.

Excellent pictures thank you for sharing.

Wow bro... nice shot you take...
Upvote you

Great photo! I want to see the northern lights so badly!

Go for it!

Green light on night sky, feel good.

Wow very beautiful @juliank

impresive shot. truly a work of beauty. thumbs up.

Nice shot! Where were you when you got this??

This was taken in Iceland

Beautiful! We can see the Northern Lights here in Saskatchewan, but you definitely need to drive out of the city to do so!

cool awesome shots, feeling relief.😊

I have seen the Northern lights a few times in Canada. The other place I saw them was Iceland!
So Amazing!

You are a lucky person!

Amazing! Can't wait to see it in live!

Absolutely stunning. Now you need to come watch the southern nights.

So happy for you! I hope everyone gets the chance to witness them one day.

What a photo. The lights on the hill in the background were especially cool. You should enter that into a contest.

Where are you at the moment? Norway?

The northern lights will always be a dream...

Wow ..this must be so, so amazing ...that's something i need to see before i leave the planet ;) .. you are very lucky :)

OMG! My bucketlist. To see the Northern lights before I die.

There's too much light yet you can still see the Aurora Borealis! Amazing image! I wish I could see one in real life too! 🤞

Cool photo. Love the northern lights. I've seen them a couple times in Canada.

I can only imagine how breath taking that must have been. Beautiful shot

Glad you could see them! There were times when they were directly overhead me, dancing around with various colors, they even make sounds! It is such a surreal experience that I had goosebumps the whole time and was in pure amazement.
