Last year my girlfriend Lindsey and I took a trip to Hawaii and spent 2 days on the Big Island of Hawaii to see the Lava Flow. It was an incredible experience and one of the most intense things I have ever done.
On that same trip we swam with sharks without a cage, went freediving through caves and went skydiving and going this close to the Lava still stuck out to me as the most insane experiences out of all of them.
To get to the lava flow we drove from our bed and breakfast we were staying at called the Lava Tree Tropic Inn ( which by the way rocked) and headed towards the Kalapana Lava viewing area. We parked our car there and rented 2 bikes for $25 each and rode for about 25 mins or so until we got to the main lava field where we had to lock the bikes up and start hiking in.
It took us about 1 1/2 hours of hiking before we got to this spot where I took the images. We stayed for about 4 hours walking around and exploring the different lava flows and then started walking back as it was getting dark.
I highly recommend the trip to anyone, just be safe!
All of these images were taken with my Panasonic GH5. For the panoramic images I take multiple images making sure to overlap each image by at least 1/4th and then stitch them together with Adobe Photoshop CC

Great photographs dude, I would loved to have seen some video footage from your GH5 too, especially if you used a gimbal with it.
