Dear Steemit friends

Today’s landscape photo is from Namibia’s awesome place Dead Vlei. It is an unique place inside Namib Park. After a relatively short hike you are rewarded with amazing view of trees in the middle of nowhere, surrounded with tons of sand.

Great photo! The sand in the background has a different color. Is it an effect or is there really a different color of sand?

All colors are real. The thing is that there are those trees on clay pan, surrounded by 300 meters high sand dunes. It is an unique place on Earth.

Wow this is great. i wonder how come the sand mountain in the distance became brown :D

This is just the way it is :) Sand in this part of Namibia is that brown color.
