Moraine Lake - Banff National Park.
In any kind of weather, she sure knows how to make a statement. This was taken at Moraine Lake this past weekend. Rain was in the forecast, but it just meant all the other tourists had sleep ins.
We got to enjoy this stunner all to ourselves, for a while at least.
I hope you all have a great week ahead!

Wow, breathtaking views! Water is incredibly turquoise. Have fun in there! ๐
The lake is a beautiful colour at the moment. Last time I was there, it was still thawing. Great to see it in all its glory again. Thank you ๐
You are privileged๐
A very beautiful moment was filmed. Lake as a mirror.
It was a beautiful still morning for the most part. Thanks for your lovely comment ๐
Nice picture! Good idea the 15sec,
this creates a nice blur in the lake! I love that lake
Thank you! Love me some long exposure :) Definitely one of my favourite lakes
A stunner indeed!
Absolutely beautiful!
And a quick question. Are you happy with this Olympus?
If you care to answer :)
Thank you!
Yes and no. I always wish I had something a little more pro but for the price, I'm satisfied. It doesn't handle noise very well and I would always like a little more sharpness and better dynamic range. But it's pretty compact compared to DSLR's so really suits me as I travel around a lot. Plus some of the features it has are awesome. You can actually watch long exposures build live on screen and I can't live without that now ๐ Super helpful when working with ND filters and shooting star trails. Plus there's a high res mode and the results are incredible. It takes 8 shots with the sensor in slightly different positions and then analyses each shot and merges them into one 64mp RAW file. You do need to use a tripod to shoot in that mode though. It's a fun camera to use but I am hoping to upgrade to full frame at some point.
Thank you Jess for taking the time to reply!
It sounds like a nice little gadget! And those features are really awesome! My 15 lbs camera bag has started to feel heavy when I go hiking and I am considering a lighter option although money are always an issue. Hopefully steemit will provide for all of us :)
You're welcome. I do love chatting all things photo ๐ Yes let's hope so. It could turn into quite a nice savings account one day.
