During low tide in remote San Josef Bay you can walk on the beach between the sea stacks. San Josef bay is at the northern tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia and it is a great example of unspoiled Pacific Northwest coastal rainforest. I might go to the Alberta/BC this summer. If so I'll make sure to check this out!
It's an awesome place. You go to Port Hardy, the town at the northern tip of Vancouver Island. Then you follow a 65 km long logging road to get to the park and walk 2 km down to the beach. A lot of people camp down on the beach. Watch out for bears and cougars!
Thank you @pixresteemer! I read your introduction. Has your secret identity ever been revealed?
Revealed...no. Known by some...yes :-) (14 people right now)
A truly magnificent landscape capture Keith. This scene has such a calming influence on me, I'm taking it to my place.
Thank you Trudee! The little trees growing on the rocks have always fascinated me. I would love to be there at high tide and make long exposure shots of the waves surging between those rocks.
That would be awesome Keith. Is this place very far from where you live?
It's difficult to reach. A full day of driving, followed by 65 km of rough, single lane logging roads. No services of any kind at the site.
Oh......that is quite a trek Keith. Just as well you have this superb image to admire. It really is a beautiful spot.

Very cool. I’ll have to look for similar on the East Coast where I am...
I'm sure there are similar things, plus rock arches!
That's not something you see everyday, Keith! A girl could easily get used to these sea stacks, beaches and rainforests.
It is gorgeous, and it is pretty remote. I wanted to stay longer on the beach but was not going to walk back up to the parking lot in the dark. Too many bears
