The old crater. Mt. Apo last erupted thousands of years ago. It is considered dormant and inactive. On the way to the peak, we passed by the crater lake.
The mini lake is located at a lower level than the seven peaks of Mt. Apo. It is also right below the Davao side peak. It was raining days before our expedition thus the lake having more water, though, it is just knee deep.
