The Glaciers of Jökulsárlón and Skaftafell (Iceland)

The area around the Jökulsárlón lagoon is very close to Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier. The national park at Vatnajökull is Iceland's largest and offers insane beauty. The chunks of ice are often more than 1,000 years old. It also shows exactly how much the climate has changed, as you can clearly see retreating ice chunks. It is one of the most awesome natural wonders of the world, and we should make sure this area is preserved.

Beautiful, so icy :)

Yep, thanks! :)

Spectacular photos of one of the most spectacular places in the world! Iceland is one my favorite countries, not just because of those wonderful sights, but also because of their Viking heritage. And if I may suggest, go check out the Godafoss Waterfall. That's another beautiful place to take pictures of. :)

So beautiful that it looks like a painting
