We had a lovely trip out on Sunday to Dunstable Downs to the world's most disappointing wind-chime. As a piece of art is was 'special' if you are into large lumps of rusty steel?
The Downs are a chalk escarpment on the Chiltern Hills and at an elevation of 797 feet (267 metres) give spectacular views off to the horizon 45 miles away.
The place was very busy and the people were spread out all over the Downs. It was not so easy to get photographs without people being in them. These are my entries for #treetuesday initiated by @old-guy-photos and the photocontests initiated by @juliank category #landscapephotography
I have a fantastic camera that I am still learning how to use. It has so many functions and filters. Here are a few examples of what you can do 'in' the camera with no computer post production.

Something captivating about tree branches against a contrasting sky.
Yeah very moody and atmospheric.
If you zoom in on the last photo you'll see some gliders in the sky.
Saw them, cool you got them in the picture.

Thanks it is a very good camera and I am working hard to learn how to use it to it's best. You can make proper movies with this model camera; if you have the skills.

Verdant wide open spaces… I’m feeling very drawn to that space.
It's a fantastic view in just about every direction. Lots of gliders flying around too.
