This is the fourth time to see South Lake Tahoe, but the first time to see it without snow. We usually visit during December - January, This time, early November. I loved the atmosphere this time because the place was lazy, almost empty, as kids are back to school at this time.
We had two days to spend here, so, first stop, Lakeview Commons, we spent at least an hour walking and mesmerizing the beauty of this nature. Then around heavenly village to grab some lunch and take a rest from driving (all the way from San Francisco), we checked-in to our room to prepare our dinner. During the night, we spent our time at the casino to play, drink and a little arcade for some childhood throwback experience, walked back to Heavenly Village to grab some ice cream at Nestle Toll House Cafe, As we were walking back to our place, we came across Basecamp Beer Garden and saw fires going on the outside seating so we spent a few more hours before heading back to rest.
The next day, we went to the Lakeside beach after breakfast then, last stop at Inspiration Point. it was a nice drive with a beautiful scenery on both sides.
