When we arrived, it was already warm. It smelled like eggs because of the sulfur and it wasn't really pleasant. Wai O Tapu is one of the most amazing zone we visited during our one year trip.

It is. New Zealand north island is well known for its volcanic area. There are plenty of volcanos. They are normally sleeping but maybe not so much.
Wow! This looks really interesting. I've never heard about this before. We went on a trip to Australia, and thought about NZ as well, but we didn't have the time. #Raincheck
We did both Australie and New Zealand. I would say it's totally different.
