Mount Coolum located on the Sunny Coast offers some of the best view in the area. The steep trek along the hand built stairs to the summit makes for any easy walk. Created about 26 million years ago, Mount Coolum is a laccolith, formed when a dome-shaped bulge of magma cooled below the Earth’s surface.
There is a small car park at the trail head, bring water and bug spray you will need it.
