Those rays are unreal man! Amazing shot. Resteemed.

Thank you so much @photofeed! :) Your support means a lot!!

You're welcome! Keep up the great work :)

Late afternoon is in my opinion the best time to relax and spend some time enjoying the spectacular views of this ancient city. All morning tours are already gone and the place is much less busy with tourists running everywhere you look. Light is just amazing and brings out reach green color of the Machu Picchu "island" from between the mountains surrounding it. Perfect time to set your camera and lay in the grass next to it taking in the beauty around you.

Uh, yeah, that's a nice time of the day too! :) Next time I'll try to go later during the day! Thanks for the tip!

Wow, this is a spectacular image of a unique view of Machu Pichu. Well done! Can't believe you've only got (as of now) 14 cents from it. I've resteemed in the hope that a few more people will see this.

Thanks a lot for the support @revo! ;) I still need to learn how to get noticed on Steemit.

That is an awesome picture , what are the ruins in the photo?

It's Machu Picchu, in Peru ;) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machu_Picchu

Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu ( or , Spanish pronunciation: [ˈmatʃu ˈpi(k)tʃu], Quechua: Machu Pikchu [ˈmɑtʃu ˈpiktʃu]) is a 15th-century Inca citadel situated on a mountain ridge 2,430 metres (7,970 ft) above sea level. It is located in the Cusco Region, Urubamba Province, Machupicchu District in Peru, above the Sacred Valley, which is 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Cuzco and through which the Urubamba River flows.
Most archaeologists believe that Machu Picchu was constructed as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti (1438–1472). Often mistakenly referred to as the "Lost City of the Incas" (a title more accurately applied to Vilcabamba), it is the most familiar icon of Inca civilization.

Exactly :D haha

When you actually stop and think about it (which isn't often enough, given the saturation of pictures of the place), it's an insane construction. Like something out of Lord of the Rings or the like..

It is insane!! Thinking that these people build it in the 15th century i mindblowing. I want to go there again as soon as I can

Beautiful light! When I was there it was pouring rain... but still magical until the crowds arrived ;-)

Thanks! Yep, I think with any kind of weather it's something unique to see! ;)
