Spring Tulips

With over a foot of fresh snow on the ground here in Wyoming, it's time to think about spring, even though it's still three months away for us.

Here are some tulips I found a few years ago.

Those are some beautiful tulips! I'm ready for spring here in Texas. The bluebonnets

are beautiful when they bloom along our highways.

Thank you.
I'll be glad of my cooler temps come June though!! You can keep your Texas heat/humidity! :-)
Funny how things are different names though - I know those as "grape hyacinths." A man who lived near me in England had his yard done nicely with a border full of grape hyacinths - just beautiful!

It has practically been spring here all week, while we'll see winter return in the morning.

It is interesting how things are named something different depending on ones location.

Awesome Work!

Thanks for your comment!

I love tulips :) Spring is only a couple of weeks away here in Maryland and I am looking forward to it, to get my garden started, but not for the heat and humidity that follows, with the summer. I would love to live where you can have a good growing season and no humidity.

We have a good hot growing season and low humidity for sure, but to pay for that, we have a very late spring (it can snow as late as Mother's Day) and the natural soil is very poor and alkaline. Some do well though and I'm looking forward to the day when I can have enough land to have some real fun.

Now I'm longing for spring!
