This is a small collection of the day we fell in love with the Rhondda in Wales. As you can see, it wasn't even a sunny day (sun is rather rare in Wales...)

That was a million-dollar view, for sure... I often miss that place and the few neighbors who truly welcomed us.

I have always loved Wales, & if not for the weather would have considered living there!
The weather is definitely an issue. I grew up in a rainy area and still Wales took me by surprise! My youngest turned two while we were there and one day, she saw the golden glow in the sky and asked: "What's that?" That's when I realized just how cloudy and rainy it was there! But when the clouds clear, it is really glorious.
