This picture was taken at my sisters allotment in the July in the Cotswolds , in Gloucestershire I remember my visit turned out to be a huge pain as never before I got hay fever. What you can see in the distance is fields of linseed ..... the smell reminded me of when my mother would do her oil painting and the bottle of linseed on her desk.
Love the Scarecrow! I have never been near linseed fields but can imagine the smell.
