On the serious side though, I live in south Africa and these poor animals are being targeted by poachers for their horns which are made from ivory. It has gotten so bad that they now have to be accompanied by a armed guard who follows the animal around in hopes to protect the animal from poachers but even this does not help as both the Rhino and Guard end up loosing their lives to these criminals.
That's a pitty. The problem is there is a market for horns. They should not only protect animals, but to try also to fight people who are buying that kind 'merchandise'.
That is also true, but if something is not done soon, i fear that our future generations will be reading about these beautiful animals in books along side the dinosaurs.
