What is Seminary?

So in our Church we have this lesson program called Seminary.... I'm not sure if other Churches have this too but I very well know that most of my friends don't do it, So Seminary is a lesson program Provided by LDS.org, and this basically is a Bible Study Session every morning before school, the point of these lessons is to teach us as Teens ranging from ages 14 to 18, more about the scriptures.

Last year we learned all about the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John etc, and although it might be early in the mornings, I am still very appreciative for this program as it gives us the spiritual help we need to continue the day, the same goes for how we say our Prayers every morning and read our Scriptures every morning, that also gives us that Spiritual Blast we need to Survive the day.

Seminary has 4 sections which then cover the four total years in which you are in Seminary being:

This Year we are covering the Book of Mormon, one of the most amazing Sections, every time you read it you get a completely different understanding from the last time you read it, Isn't that cool though!!

Our Passed Prophet had set up a goal for all of us where we had to try and finish the Book of Mormon in, If I'm not wrong, 6 months, this doesn't seem difficult, but take into consideration that that also means that you have to ponder and do research on the things you don't understand. Probably one of the best things in the Book of Mormon is the stories, they are better than those which you would get out of any story book, but these are true, they are AWESOME.

So the aim of today's post was to try and get a bunch of you guys to go and read the scriptures and get in touch with the spirit, The Spirit has the ability to guide you through your day and it has the ability to answer some of your very long lasted unanswered questions.

"It takes faith to believe that the resurrected Lord is watching over the daily details of His kingdom. It takes faith to believe that He calls imperfect people into positions of trust. It takes faith to believe that He knows the people He calls perfectly, both their capacities and their potential, and so makes no mistakes in His calls."

I had the privilege to graduate from seminary, and the last book we studied was the book of mormon. My testimony of the Savior grew stronger than ever and because of that i served the lord on a mission.

I will take your challenge to read the BOM, again.

THAT'S SO AWESOME MAN, I'M GLAD I WAS ABLE TO GIVE A PAST MISSIONARY A CHALLENGE!!

If it's your calling don't avoid it. nice post.

Thanks
