Here is my entry for the initiative LEARN & EARN, started by @matkodurko who passed the torch to @brittandjosie. She's now hosting the contest every week.

So, here are some of the things I've learned:
Monday | If you want to set up a Virtual Linux Server don't use Ubuntu. Pick Debian instead. It will save you from being committed in a mental asylum, trust me! What a nightmare it is to configure a remote machine with Ubuntu. Everything goes wrong, from impossible to install video drivers to disappearing network devices. I don't wish that pain to anyone. So now I know how to do it right, avoiding headaches: can't go wrong with Debian! | Image Source |
Tuesday | I've learned, or better, confirmed my thoughts that SteemIt Inc keeps focusing ther efforts, time and resources to improve trivial aspects of the SteemIt.com site. Flags vs Downvotes? Really? That's your priority? What about a decent post editor, like Busy, SteemPeak and eSteem offer? Never crossed your mind? | Image Source |
Wednesday | I've learned that once you follow a good amount of content creators on the Steem Network it's humanly impossible to keep track on every good post out there! If there's such great content right now, I can't even imagine when the Steem price its 5€ again! | Image Source |
Thursday | I've found out that the more holidays there are in a month, the more productive I am at my work! There should be a holiday every Wednesday! 😂 Resting is good for the mind, body and soul! | Image Source |
Friday | The Venezuelan Crisis doesn't seem to have an end in sight. Apparently, the US Government decided, once again, to kick off a regime change in another country. It seems that they are keep doing this until they eventually get it right. They say practice makes perfection, but in the US Government case, practice doesn't seem to have an visible effect. Every time the USA topples a "dictator" somewhere, the resulting mess lasts for decades without end... When will this madness stop? | Image Source |
Saturday | Last year, everyone was going crazy with XRP, as it was one of the only alt coins out there going up, while everything else is going down. Today I found out that he company behind it made a huge sell of XRP while everyone else was buying... Half a year later, the tables have turned. It seems that every coin out there is going up, while XRP has been in a free fall for over 6 months now. Lesson learned: If the team behind a coin don't trust it, neither should you. (I'm glad I'm stuck with Bitcoin.) | Image Source |
It looks like #learnandearn is going to be me primary source of information here on LOL
Aahhahahah! I know that feeling too well. I've been avoiding the News on TV like the plague! 😂
You learned a lot of things: well done, mate!
Resteemed with joy 😂

Thanks a lot for your visit.
My pleasure!
How do you proceed?
Do you write down every day what you have learned?
Have you set up a sort of daily ritual?
I try to save a little note each day on my phone, sometimes a single word is enough. Then I elaborate when I'm writing the post.
Good to know: I’l try doing the same! 😜

Steem is a big roller-coaster. Let's just hope it stays on the tracks until the end of our ride! 😉
I think you mean humanly, but maybe not. 😂
Yep, you're right.
@trincowski, First of all good to know about this contest and you've come up with very interesting post. And definitely some points are really effective and specially let's see if Steem price go to moon then what will be the level of content creation.
