From the Memoirs of Margaret Thatcher
When I was young, I loved boating, I also had a small boat that I used to sail on the lake and spend many hours there alone.
One night I sat down and closed my eyes without thinking about anything special. It was a beautiful night. At the same time, another boat hit my boat, I got angry and wanted to fight with the person who had disturbed me by hitting the boat.
But I saw that the boat was empty. There was no one in the boat to fight with him and show my anger to him. How could I vent my anger? Nothing could be done. I sat down again and closed my eyes, I was angry .... I thought for a while in the silence of the night, the empty boat was a lesson for me ....
From then on, if anyone makes me angry, I say to myself : "This boat is empty too"
The point is, in fact, the one who makes you angry has conquered you. You have given parts of your being.
We have to die to be worthy of life ...
