AFFIRMATION OF THE DAY:
I welcome the solitude within and find peace in my own presence.

TAROT CARD OF THE DAY:
The Hermit.

Embrace the serene wisdom of the hermit as you affirm, ‘I welcome the solitude within and find peace in my own presence’. The hermit who is cloaked with contemplation, represents a journey inward where solitude is not loneliness but a quest for deeper understanding and enlightenment. This affirmation acknowledges that within the stillness of this moment, your spirit can indeed find the peace it longs for. Just as the hermit holds a lantern to illuminate the path ahead in the darkness, you too can shed light on your inner world discovering the tranquility that resides within you. In the solitude of self reflection, you will come to appreciate the beauty of your restless spirit, and harness this raw energy to move mountains. The hermit card reminds us that moments of introspection can often lead to profound insights and personal growth. Through tending to your inner light, you will discover that you are never truly alone, and you can navigate the outward complexities of life with greater clarity and equanimity all while experiencing a profound sense of peace even in the midst of constant motion. Learn to cherish moments of aloneness, to foster a stronger connection with what it means to be content with your own company. Welcome this affirmation into your heart, and you will unlock an inner sanctuary. The hermit card suggests a time for you to withdraw from the outside world to gain deeper insights into yourself and your life path.

TAROT TIP #15

78 cards may seem like quite a lot to figure out, at least until you break it down into groupings. There is the major arcana (with 22 cards) which represents the journey through life and the significant major events that always cycle around; and four categories of the minor arcana (with 14 cards each) which represent the more everyday events and situations that we encounter, and these can then be divided into 1-10 plus four 'court cards'. There will always be four aces, four pages, four knights, four queens and four kings. You can even come to think of each suit as having the same format as playing cards cups (as hearts), pentacles (as diamonds), swords (as spades), and wands (as clubs).
