So the temperature dropped to - 40c last night. This coldsnap came just as I finished this hat for a customer. Dark, dark brown reindeer leather with dark red inserts and beaver fur. This should keep him warm and cosy for the next couple of days when the temperature will linger around the - 30 mark.
This hat is entirely sewn by hand.
In December at the winter solstice me and Brock celebrated 3 years of marriage. The material for the 3 year anniversary is leather, but since I work with leather he didn't want to get my anything made from it, instead he got me my logo as a stamp. Looks pretty awesome right?!
Ooh I love that! How awesome!
Have you had a chance to explore https://homesteaderscoop.com
Thank you :D :D
No, well I had a quick peek (great looking website and such a cool initiative!!) but haven't had time to properly have a look and read the info and everything on there. When things calm down a bit I will though because it would be cool if I could add my things on there (just need time to actually create something)
Brocks health took a turn for the worst last week, ended with him in the hospital on Friday. The doctors are still doing tests and trying to figure out whats going on. So, with him unable to stand on his feet without doubling over in pain and my chronic pain real bad we've been struggling a bit. His parents have been over to help out lots though, and its starting to get a bit better.
Oh no, what happened?! What are they thinking? I hope he's alright, sending up some prayers for him.
Congratulations @elfmyselfandi! You received a personal award!
