I'm just asking myself what influences the value of the upvotes expressed in $, because sometimes when I receive upvotes their values are higher then when they get delivered, without getting any downvotes. Does the value of the token on the exchanges influence it, so when the value of Steem goes down also the value of upvote goes down?

Only until the payout day does the final tally actually count. So yes, vote could should $0.74 cents now, but later it could go up or down in value based on market value of Steem, until the payout day. Then it will payout based on that days value. Hope that helps @irastra
