PELLE (BRAZIL)
Although already retired from the world of football, but the name of Pele is still known as the best striker in history. Until now, there has never been a player who broke his record in scoring, which is 1281 goals in 1363 matches. So, do not be surprised if he dubbed as a goal scorer. The International Federation of Football Statistics and History (IFFHS) has even awarded him the best player of the century.
RONALDO (BRAZIL)
This one player is practically a "derivative" of Pele. Equally a striker, Ronaldo is known to score goals from any position he is. First appeared in the 1994 World Cup when he was 17 years old, Ronaldo reached the height of his glory in the 2002 World Cup when Brazil successfully became world champion for the fifth time. He also holds the record for most goalscorers in the World Cup until now.
DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA (ARGENTINA)
Unlike Pele and Ronaldo who are experts in attacking, Maradona is better known as a midfielder. At the 1986 Mexico World Cup, for example, Maradona dribbled from midfield past five English players before finally scoring a goal that was touted as the best goal of all time. From that goal Maradona finally given the nickname "The Hand of God". Unfortunately, Maradona was expelled from the 1994 World Cup for using illegal drugs.
FERENC PUSKAS (HUNGARIA)
The name of Puskas had soared in the early 1950s. Despite only following one World Cup throughout his career, the Hungarian team became one of the favorites when it was due to Puskas. Thanks to the role of Puskas also, Hungary can win a gold medal at the 1952 Olympics. His ability as a striker also managed to help him score 513 goals in 528 games he had ever participated.
RONALDINHO (BRAZIL)
Brazil is famous for being a reliable football player manufacturer, is not it? Ronaldinho is dubbed the "magic man" because he is considered the most complete football player the world has ever had. He can perform dribble control techniques, passing, finishing, and free kick just as well. Because of his rare ability, Ronaldinho can be placed as attacking midfielder, second striker, or attacker. Hence, do not be surprised if FIFA ever gave him an award as the best player in 2004 and 2005.
