Skywalker Saga was also $60, but that game's bigger than most non-LEGO games
i think most LEGO games launch at $60 to low player numbers (excluding Skywalker Saga, which got huge numbers and still retains a bigger daily playerbase than a lot of other games), then gain more once the game goes on sale. Still, most LEGO games release on all platforms they possibly can (meanwhile this one avoided Xbox in order to reduce sales), and have way more content i think.
i mean, Skywalker Saga, right now, over 2 years after launch, has over 1000 daily player peak (not total daily players, highest amount of daily players at any point during the day. So, probably closer to 2000-3000 daily active players on Steam alone. This game is also available on game pass i think, and is an Xbox play anywhere game so that's not even the entire PC playerbase). The price of the game here is basicaly food for a whole month
maybe even 2 months. lol $60
sony truly is out of touch sometimes. I will only ever buy those on sale.
i mean, $60 is better than $70
but yeah, i feel like a game this scale should be around $40, similar to Star Wars Squadrons
