As I've said before, I'll take the wins when they come, and this one, this is one of those times.
Like other people on this space, I too was very critical of the Biden administration when it came to crypto. As I've said before, every single time you argue for restriction of personal freedoms, you are likely to be incorrect, and boy did Biden fumble the ball there.
I have to say...
I'm surprised to see ADA on that list, not so much XRP. I mean, XRP is not really crypto, but that hardly matters. Money in at its modern forms is just a story we agree upon. But ADA, I had no idea we agreed on that one.
Where do we go now?
I don't know, but I do know that our politicians don't understand how any of this works, and chances are they are likely to make a lot of errors along the way.
Who here hasn't seen those amazing hearings where American politicians show the world how disconnected they truly are from the world, and more so from tech. Some of those clips are hilarious, I have to say.
Anyways...
Meno man, Politicians be messing up tech decisions. At this point, I half expect them to ask if Bitcoin runs on 5G. I'll enjoy the pump while it lasts and take some advice from Meno and the experts 💪

I doubt Trump understands it. He will just see it as another money-making opportunity for him and his mates. Just watch them cut taxes for the rich too.

I'm cynical. He hopes that none of the crypto bros actually understand what an executive order is nor knows that it is not a directive to instantly do this thing. The tweet pumped the market, but what happens when this idea dies in committee? I don't trust him or anyone around him to be pro-crypto, they are just pretending to be because they know it gets them support.
I suspect he's doing this at the direction of his kids. Trump probably doesn't even understand crypto, but that's ok.
