I believe it's too soon to say this, hive is still new and in my opinion it is a long term investment, there will come a day where you will look back at the current times and think "man, I wish I cumulated more hive when it was worth pennies".
It happened to me with steemit before, I sold earlier, very early, before it reached a dollar, and I regreted it.
For me it is still better to use hive than any other social media platform where you are the product, and you gain nothing in exchange. Nowadays people are starting to awaken and think for themselves, so all we have to do is prepare for the future and take care of this baby until it reaches its potential, because hive is its community. And the community isn't a failure.
